Wesley Fair

Wesley Fair 2008

   Wesley Fair 08 – a great success

By far, the stand-out feature of Wesley Fair was the spirit of festivity and togetherness that infused the day. It was a rare gathering of Wesley Mission supporters, friends and associates. Many Wesley Mission centres came together, bringing with them their vast experiences and reminding us once again how broad and diverse an organisation Wesley Mission is.

This one dynamite day has raised more money for Wesley Mission than the longer running fairs of previous years. Well done to all those who helped achieve this fantastic result all for good causes. Read the full report.  We look forward to seeing you next year on October 8th for our 96th Wesley Fair 09.

   Helping good causes

Wesley’s compassionate heart extends to helping those at home and abroad.

This year funds raised will be given to support:

  • 5 students from the Pacific Islands to study peace building and evangelism at Alan Walker College, returning to their own country to implement their new knowledge;
  • support for students in Myanmar (formerly Burma); and
  • a playground for children living in our homeless families accommodation at Noreen Towers Community.
